Celebrating the beauty of hand finishing through open work
The FPSK Series (Felipe Pikullik Skeleton) is an annual limited edition of fully hand-skeletonized watches, embodying the essence of Felipe Pikulluk's craftsmanship. During his early days in watchmaking, lacking expensive tools, Felipe devoted countless hours to mastering the challenging art of hand skeletonization. Despite the minimal tool requirements, mastering hand skeletonization is one of the most demanding tasks. The FPSK skeleton serves as a testament, celebrating the exquisite beauty of hand finishing in every detail. From start to finish, each step in the finishing process is meticulously executed by hand using traditional methods. The first edition of the FPSK started with a five-piece limited series in 2022.

The Dial of the FPSK consists of the back plate of the movement in combination with a laser-cut chapter ring. The 2023 edition which marks the second edition in the series pays homage to one of Felipe’s early skeletons, the model circulum. The design is marked by circular shapes mainly, that are intentionally disrupted to cause a partial asymmetry. The finish of the dial including the engraving is carried out with great care and high attention to detail, as small mistakes could lead to the dial being unusable. Doing that by hand is a blessing and a curse at the same time. A blessing as it allows us to feature designs and shapes that are not possible otherwise and a curse as small mistakes could lead to a total failure of the part.
The FPSK 2023 movement is finished with the same care and attention to detail as the dial side. The movement plates are precisely hand-skeletonized and beveled before undergoing engraving. Incorporating both polished bevels and hand-engraved surfaces leaves us with no room for error. All the steps in the process are followed with high concentration and attention to detail. The movement in every FP watch is designed not only to fit aesthetics but also, with equal importance, to prioritize maintaining functionality and the technical stability of the movement. Felipe’s long experience with Skeleton watches allows him to incorporate both creative surfaces while obtaining technical functionality.
